OVERVIEW
Please Note: Class price has been discounted due to the virtual nature of this course during COVID.
“This class is an excellent introduction to coloring with DaVinci Resolve. It is ideal for first-time users and you do not need any experience to attend. It’s true you can search through free YouTube clips and probably get started, but it is very important when learning any software to learn the correct way from the beginning. It will lay a great foundation going forward. So if you want to learn from a professional colorist with 30 years of color experience and 15 years on Resolve, then this might be the class for you.
ICA virtual classes are capped at eight people with each student getting a media download link 7 days before the class starts. Students are encouraged to share their own material so they can get individual feedback from me. The class mixes the operational side of Resolve with real-world workflows and problems. The aim is to get you to a standard where you can color a real job. It is run at a relaxed pace, questions are encouraged and group participation is a key part of the course. This class is ideal for Editors, DITs, DPs, and Photographers, basically anybody with a desire to learn more about color correction.”
